From faceoff to final horn, one live game.

HockeyOnline is the game report for ice hockey, rebuilt for the browser. The scorekeeper, the timekeeper, the referee and the announcer each work on their own device, the arena scoreboard and every screen in the building follow the game live, and everything it writes is compatible with eGREP and hockeydata’s league server that leagues in Germany and Austria use.

Close

A goal in three taps.

Nobody at the scorekeeper’s table has time for forms. The goal button sits right next to the play-by-play, and the rest is a short, forgiving flow.

  1. Close

    Time

Type the game time on a keypad that knows whether your league counts up or down.

  2. Close

    Scorer

Tap the jersey number. Assists are one more tap each, and optional.

  3. Close

    Done

Strength, empty net and the minor that ends on a power-play goal are already suggested. Confirm, and the scoreboard updates.

One game night, start to finish.

This is how a home game runs when the whole arena works in HockeyOnline.

  1. Lineups come in

Both teams submit their lineup from the phone and the team managers sign it. The scorekeeper only reviews.

    Team lineups and phone signatures
  2. The screens wake up

The lobby screens switch from the ice schedule to tonight’s game: both lineups, the officials, the countdown to faceoff.

    Screens and digital signage
  3. The scorekeeper loads the game

Rosters, team colors and the league’s rules come from the league server, the way eGREP gets them.

  4. Faceoff

The timekeeper starts the clock on their own device. The arena scoreboard above the ice runs with it.

  5. Goal for the home team

Three taps at the table. Score, strength and the play-by-play update on every device and every screen at once.

  6. The announcer calls it

The goal announcement is ready with scorer, assists and game time. Read it out, or press play and let the AI voice bring the house down.

  8. Two minutes for hooking

The referee enters the penalty on their phone. It lands at the table as a proposal and goes into the report once accepted.

The overlay on the club stream shows the power play and the penalty clock, driven by the same live events.

The announcement writes itself.

A goal goes in, and the text for the arena is already there. Your announcer reads it out loud, or you let an AI voice speak it in the language of your choice.

  • Goals with the scorer and assists
  • Penalties, even several at once
  • Goalie changes
  • Period starts and the final score
  • The lineups for the welcome

GOAL For the Maple Creek Beavers! Scored by number seventeen, Daniel Harper! Assisted by number four, Liam Brooks!

The text comes straight from the game, nobody types anything over. The voices are from ElevenLabs, in several languages.

Announcer and AI voices: How it works

Speaks eGREP. Fluently.

Leagues in Germany (DEB) and Austria (ÖEHV) report their games with eGREP and hockeydata’s league server. HockeyOnline does not ask anyone to change that: it writes the same game report and prints the same forms, so every tool downstream keeps working.

The same game file
HockeyOnline writes the eGREP game report field by field, in eGREP’s own element order. The original eGREP software reads it unchanged.
The same printouts
Pre-game form, game report, lineup sheet, shootout form and supplementary report follow eGREP’s own templates.
The same rules, checked earlier
Power-play expiry, coincidental penalties and plus/minus are worked out for you, and mistakes show up during the game, not after it.

What is HockeyOnline?

Who is HockeyOnline for?

For everyone involved in running a game: scorekeepers, timekeepers, referees, announcers, team and club managers, and the leagues and federations that receive the reports.

Where can we use HockeyOnline?

HockeyOnline starts in Germany and Austria, for clubs and leagues that report their games with eGREP and hockeydata’s league server, as in DEB and ÖEHV competitions. The team, club, screen and announcer features work for every club there, also for games that are reported on paper.
